Miriam Herman

Miriam Herman, (nee Matathias), is a product of the Five Towns. She has recently worked in real estate, specializing in commercial and residential leasing, as well as sales and property management, on Manhattan's Lower East Side.  She stopped working to raise her family.

When the couple's children entered The Brandeis School, Miriam threw herself enthusiastically into volunteering for the school, especially for Chesed projects with the students.  She spearheaded Brandeis' presence at the UJA - 5 Towns Food Drive, wrote a grant for the school's participation in Jewish Social Action Month, (JSAM), and is a constant presence in the lives of her children and the school community, trying to ensure a quality education for the next generation.

Miriam and her husband Brad reside on Long Island, with their three children, Ava, (8), Jake, (5), and Max, (4)
